Agrinos Leads Global Seminar on the Role of Biostimulants in Integrated Crop Management Systems
VALENCIA, Spain (Jan. 25, 2018)—Agrinos agronomist Simon Hendry led a featured seminar at the 2018 Biostimulants Europe Conference this month in Valencia, Spain.
Hendry’s presentation focused on the ways growers benefit from biostimulants in integrated crop management systems. He also presented a case study, “The Relationship Between Yield Promotion and Improved Sustainability,” which outlined the measurable productivity gains and environmental benefits growers can realize by incorporating Agrinos’ proprietary line of High Yield Technology (HYT®) biological crop inputs.
“Biostimulants are presenting growers around the world with an exciting opportunity to increase yields and crop quality, while simultaneously offering a number of critical environmental benefits,” said Hendry. “Applied at the correct time, biostimulants can significantly improve plant health, which ultimately leads to higher harvestable yields and better quality for a more profitable crop.”
Sustainability was a key topic at this year’s conference, as consumer demand for improvements across several agricultural sustainability measures continues to increase with each passing year.
“Agrinos’ biostimulants and microbial products lead to bettering several sustainability outcomes,” said Hendry. “These products are truly unique in their ability to improve soil health, water quality, nutrient efficiency and overall land stewardship.”
Many presenters at the conference emphasized agriculture’s increasingly pivotal role in sustainability. Stakeholders expect industries, including agriculture, to identify and adopt sustainable practices that result in measurable improvements.
About Agrinos
Agrinos is a biological crop input provider committed to improving the productivity and sustainability of modern agriculture. Agrinos’ range of biofertilizers and biostimulant products help farmers to practice profitable agriculture by providing increased crop productivity, improved efficiency of conventional fertilizer and a reduced environmental footprint.
Based on Agrinos’ proprietary High Yield Technology (HYT) platform, the HYT® products provide benefits by strengthening the soil-based microbial ecosystem, stimulating crop development at key points in the growth cycle and boosting natural plant resistance to environmental stresses. With solutions for a variety of crop categories, the technology comprising the HYT products has demonstrated its value in third-party trials in key agricultural regions worldwide
